This post expands a bit more on the last part of the post Leaping a Tall Building.
The ability to use fajing from the 22 form depends on your ability to couple together different principles and biomechanical actions.
In the beginning you will find that different techniques teach different principles and biomechanics.
However, once you have practiced for a few years you need to bring them together. You might not be able to use each and everyone together, and there is no need to do that. You would want to know which to mix and match to give you the result.
For example, if you are using Push then you would want to be able to have the following in your movement (in no particular order) :-
1) The tri-spirals
2) The close-open and open-close mechanism
3) The bend elbow-advance body, straighten elbow-retreat body mechanism
4) The singular essential 3 passes
5) The tri-Rollback
6) The elongated wrist, small Chi sphere
7) The Push-Ward-Off vectors
8) The step-Push trigger
9) The 5 bows
10) The 9 crooked pearls
All the above have a role to play at a certain part of the Push technique movement.
If you have grasped the principles properly you can simplify everything down to 1-2 steps. However, for the study stage we need to slowly understand the role played by each of them.
This is why practicing the 22 form is a humongous challenge.
