Centre Column Pole

I have known for a long time that Bak Mei and NGK (岳家拳) shares something in common, which is that the pole forms in both styles come from the Lee family.

The 中欄棍 which is translated as Centre Column Pole is the name of a pole form that both styles share. Below is a video of the Bak Mei Centre Column Pole.

Interestingly, despite having the same name and originating from a common source the 中欄棍 of Bak Mei and NGK is not the same form in terms of arrangement.

I can see some similarity in techniques but then there are only a finite number of techniques so this does not tell me much.

I have seen a video of the NGK version of 中欄棍 and that arrangement is more similar to what I know. However, since that demo does not do justice to the beauty and potency of this form I will not put up the link.
