Being able to fajing is no big deal yet masters and practitioners make it to be a big deal.
Anyone can easily learn to fajing. There is no value in having to learn Tai Chi for years before you can fajing. What if you are forced to defend yourself tomorrow? So if you are learning Tai Chi to defend yourself you cannot wait forever to be able to fajing.
Fajing is just a process. Once you know what it is you can master it. The problem is that many masters mystify the process so that they can rip off the masses that are hungry for such skills.
Once of the easiest way to master fajing is by learning the process of doing Push. I described this in TaijiKinesis Vol 2 – Learning the Taijiquan Form so I won’t repeat it here. The only thing I want to add is that you must faithfully do the process. Don’t assume that you are correct. Test it and you will know if you are deluding yourself.
If the method to Master Tai Chi Today is impossible or difficult to grasp then how could the art be transmitted. That it could means it can be learned. The missing link is most students’ inability to practice accurately. So pay more attention to the details and mastery is yours.
